Do Star Uretech's adhesives contain VOCs?

No. The Star Uretech range of single component adhesives contain zero VOC’s. Unlike our competitiors products, our adhesives are listed on Google's Portico healthy materials site, do not require the R40/H351 carcinagenic warning and are fully GHS complaint.

Do Star Uretech's adhesives contain solvents, phthalates, halogens and phosphates?

Some of our adhesives contain phthalates however Uretech PA1 Ultra is the UKs first phthalate free ped adhesive. Uretech PA1 Ultra also contain zero VOC’s, does not require the R40/H351 carcinagenic warning and is listed on Google's Portico healthy materials site

Are the Uretech range of adhesives LEED compliant?
Yes. The Star Uretech range of single component pedestal adhesives are formulated, manufactured and packaged to conform to LEED requirements. The LEED requirement states that all adhesives and sealants used on the interior of the building shall not exceed a volatile organic compound (VOC) limit of 70 grams per litre for construction adhesives. When tested to the required standard the VOC level of Uretech adhesives is less than 10 grams per litre, in fact, Uretech one component pedestal adhesives contain no VOC’s.

Are the Uretech range of adhesives BREEAM compliant?
Yes. The Uretech range of single component pedestal adhesives and tanking membranes fall into the BREEAM classification of Flooring Adhesives and are tested according to the standard BSEN 13999:2007. The products have emission levels of:

VOC’s: None detected
Aldehydes: None detected
Volatile diisocyanates: No isocyanates detected.

Do I need to wear breathing apparatus when using Star Uretech's adhesives?
No. Star Uretechs access flooring adhesives contain zero VOCs and when used correctly breathing appartus is not required.
