Mark Almond is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the business and has been a part of the Star Uretech family since 2004 when the company was based in Manchester. Originally employed as the Sales Co-ordinator, Mark has risen through the ranks as the Production Manger, Quality Manager and Operations Manager. In his personal time Mark is somewhat of a geek and enjoys science fiction, fantasy, astronomy, science and all things Middle Earth.

1) What do you like most about your job?
I enjoy working with my team. I couldn't ask for a more dedicated, hard working and skilled group to work with.

2) What is your favorite TV program?
I enjoy 'GOT', 'University Challenge' and the 'Wonders of' series by Brian Cox but without a doubt, my favorite is Firefly. (Still waiting for Season 2).

3) What is your favorite song?
Well this changes but currently it is Welcome to Love by Young Ejecta (or any 90s dance) (including 2 Unlimited).

4) Where would your perfect holiday destination be?
A sleepy village on one of the Greek islands.

5) What is your favorite beverage?
Black coffee, Peroni or maybe Vodka & Red Bull.
